The Pharmacy Delivery Driver is responsible for delivery and pick-up of patient orders for medications, supplies and equipment in a safe, accurate, courteous, effective and timely manner.
In addition, responsible for designated activities related to miscellaneous warehouse duties as required which may include cleaning and maintenance of infusion control devices, managing and disposing of hazardous waste, and general warehouse labor. Primary Responsibilities: Deliver medications and supplies to patients, possibly driving long distancesAssist with picking and packing of suppliesAssist in inventory restockingAssist in cleaning and organizing the warehouseAssist in other warehouse responsibilities as assignedCleaning/stocking warehouse and delivery vehicles Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED (or higher)Must have and maintain a clean current / valid AL driver's license, with no moving violations during the past two (2) yearsAbility to work 30 hours per week Monday - Friday between 10 a.m - 8 p.m., based on business needs.
Schedule will also include on-call shift rotation 7 days per month which can include weekends and evenings Comfortable delivering and driving up to 100% of the time Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in the role of delivery driverPrevious customer service experience Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 poundsAbility to sit and drive for long periods of time Careers with AxelaCare.
