**Tuscaloosa Operating/Safety**

**Position Duties** :

This position will provide clerical support to the Tuscaloosa Operating Department and Safety and Health. The position will be located in the Tuscaloosa Engineering Department. This position will be responsible for back up timekeeping, working with standard company business office computer systems; working with customers' requests, inquiries, and complaints; assisting with ordering supplies and processing invoices from contractors and suppliers. This position will also provide clerical support to the Safety-Health and Compliance Department and will be responsible for maintaining Department of Transportation (DOT)/Commerical Driving License(CDL) files, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) logs, personnel training records, oil spill reporting, compliance training records and support for the Safety Renewal and Division Safety Council.

**Job Experience** :

Knowledge and/or willingness to develope personal computer skills including Windows NT, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel, and standard company business office applications.

**Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** :

Candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of efficiency. The successful candidate must also be able to handle telephone calls and walk in customer interaction with a high degree of professionalism and courtesy. It is expected that the successful individual should be available to assist with storm restoration efforts.
