Performs a variety of clerical and routine administrative duties which require word processor, spreadsheet, and database capability, and knowledge of general office procedures. Works to standard practices and procedures and written and/or verbal instructions. Types routine letters, reports, memoranda, tabulations, summaries, and other similar material involving setups and arrangements working from rough drafts or straight copy. Corrects errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and proofreads documents. Arranges, sorts, and files material previously indexed or where subject matter is readily recognizable. Makes computations according to instructions. Receives, processes, and maintains detailed records necessary to the retention of specified information. Maintains attendance records and reviews time accounting records. Accomplishes routine operations such as posting, matching, and making extensions, transposing, summarizing, and checking. Performs special projects as directed. Performs other duties such as answering the telephone, taking and relaying messages, sorting and delivering mail, maintaining office supplies, collecting and forwarding material, and other routine office duties. Performs tasks with minimum supervision. May be assigned to maintain AF publications and TO files. May be assigned to input data into the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) or other data collection programs. May be assigned additional duties, to include Facility Custodian. Practices good housekeeping, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all times.Shall assist other personnel and work centers as directed. Must promote Company values, policies, and standards of conduct. Must be customer oriented and ensure professional coordination with base agencies. Shall perform other duties assigned to include TDY and travel. Must be able to work day shift, night shift, or weekend duty as required.Receives cross-utilization training (CUT) and is qualified to perform those administrative tasks.

Two years recent experience performing administrative duties covering a wide range of office duties is required. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associates Degree in Business Administration or a related field is desired. Must be proficient with word processor, and have a general knowledge of spreadsheet and database computer software. Must be proficient in computer use and proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Formal courses in Microsoft Office programs are desired. Must be proficient in data entry. Must have experience and be proficient in Files/Records Management. Must be able to type at a rate of 40 words per minute. Must exhibit excellent telephone and customer service skills. Must have good communication skills and the ability to read and interpret Air Force guidance. Must be able to obtain and maintain a flight line drivers license as required.

Physical Requirements:

Primarily office environment. Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. At times, must be able to work in aircraft hangar environment and board / exit aircraft. At times, must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and stoop. Must be able to walk particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. Must be able to work primarily with fingers such as typing. Must be able to work at heights, subject to noise, subject to a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, work on scaffolding, exposure to heat/cold. Must be able to communicate effectively.
